Because the school does not field its own soccer team, aspiring players must join the cooperative squad based in Wiscasset, a town several miles away, and arrange their own rides to practices and games.

Allan Crocker, the school’s Athletic Director, has acknowledged that transportation for cooperative sports is offered when possible but is not guaranteed, leaving many athletes without reliable access.
Tracey Brown‑Gysi, who oversees transportation for the district, has highlighted an extreme shortage of drivers that forces the district to rely on costly charter services like Country Coach Charters for tennis, a solution that is not financially sustainable for soccer.
