Thunder On The Hardwood Returns to Huntington
On October 1, the Cam Henderson Center will host Marshall University’s annual Thunder On The Hardwood gala, a high‑profile fundraiser that brings together fans, alumni and student‑athletes for an evening of dining, silent auction and coach appearances.
The event marks the official kickoff of the 2026‑27 basketball season for both the men’s and women’s programs, celebrating a year that saw the men finish second in the Sun Belt Conference and the women capture the WNIT Championship with a 66‑41 victory over Illinois State.
Premium Venues Take Center Stage
New premium spaces such as the Hartley Room and the Miller Lite Lounge will be showcased, offering attendees upgraded experiences that reflect the growing stature of Herd Nation.
Ticket options range from Courtside at $10,000 to Individual tickets priced at $150, with each tier designed to maximize engagement and financial support for the programs.
Coaches Corny Jackson and Juli Fulks are slated to make guest appearances, adding a personal touch that deepens the connection between the team and its fan base.
