Reggie Holmes, a legendary figure in Morgan State University basketball, is set to be inducted into the Mid‑Eastern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame in 2027 as part of the conference’s 2027 Hall of Fame Class.
His tenure from 2006 through 2010 coincided with the leadership of coach Todd Bozeman, under whom the Bears captured three consecutive MEAC regular‑season championships, two tournament titles and two appearances in the NCAA Division I Tournament.
Holmes earned two All‑MEAC first‑team honors and was named the 2010 MEAC Player of the Year after averaging 21.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game during a senior season that produced a 27–10 record and a perfect 15–1 conference slate.
Finishing his collegiate career with 2,051 points, he sits fifth in MEAC history for scoring and ranks second all‑time with 308 three‑point field goals, while his 514 made free throws place him fourth in conference annals.

The ceremony will take place during the 2027 MEAC Basketball Tournament in Norfolk, Virginia, on March 11, 2027, where Holmes will be honored alongside fellow inductees in a celebration of the conference’s rich history.
Beyond his on‑court achievements, Holmes’ legacy continues to influence the program, inspiring teammates, mentors and later players such as Cy Alexander, Rod Broadway and Christina Epps, who have carried forward the Bears’ competitive spirit.
