Montana State University’s third annual Ladies Night drew a record crowd of more than 500 women, transforming the campus into a bustling hub of football drills, player meet‑ups and a full‑scale game‑day experience that traced its roots back to an inaugural gathering of just 120 attendees.
Community Spirit Meets Gridiron
Founder Molly Vigen praised the rapid expansion and highlighted the energy that players like Ashley Crane and Toni Wetmore brought to the field, with Crane nailing two field goals for the third straight year and Wetmore and kicker Myles Sansted delivering precise punts that delighted the participants.
The evening also featured a vibrant marketplace of local vendors, an auction that funneled proceeds to the Bobcat football program, and a tunnel‑run recreation that let participants feel the rush of game day, all under the watchful eye of community members such as Miranda Harris and Holli Simcoe, who noted the unique fervor of Bozeman’s fan base.
In a brief interview, Vigen expressed gratitude to volunteers, sponsors and MSU athletics for their support, while Simcoe remarked that the level of local backing in Bozeman rivals the excitement of a national championship celebration.
