John Brown University opened its season with a tightly contested 2-1 win over Benedictine Men’s Soccer, a match that swung back and forth before the Golden Eagles seized control in the second half.
The Eagles struck first in the 12th minute, taking an early lead that lasted until the 24th minute when Benedictine’s Kody Argaez leveled the score with a well‑placed finish assisted by Henry Mullen.
