The team also traveled to Peru for the FISU America Games, where he logged 11 points, six rebounds and a steal in a 5‑for‑6 shooting performance.

Across those contests he posted averages of 9.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks per game, shooting 58.3 % from the field and 64.3 % on free throws. Coaches highlighted his defensive instincts, noting that his length and timing allow him to protect the rim and pressure ball‑handlers.

Offensively, Mustaf’s game centers on perimeter shooting and rim‑running, though his three‑point volume was limited last season. He has said he plans to refine his ball handling and shooting mechanics during the summer, aiming to become a more consistent threat from the outside while still using his body to get into the paint.

Leadership development is another pillar of his plan. The player emphasized that the Hoosiers’ culture, described as both challenging and fun, offers a platform to grow into a vocal role.
