Coach T.C. Taylor, who has guided the team through a period of transition, welcomed the decision, noting that it allows the program to bring back several key contributors who missed out on their final season of eligibility.
Among those returning are safety B.J. Washington and linebacker Reid Pulliam, both of whom started every game in 2023, as well as defensive linemen Tymon Wells and Kanye Varner, who add depth to the front line.
