The centerpiece of the schedule is a participation in the Baha Mar Championship in Nassau, Bahamas, where the Pirates will open against Wisconsin on November 19 before possibly meeting NC State or Murray State the following day.
Coach Shaheen Holloway, now in his fifth season, will guide a roster that posted 21 wins a year ago, the third‑best turnaround in college basketball, and aims to build on that momentum.
The schedule also features matchups against five NCAA Tournament qualifiers from the previous season, highlighted by a home‑and‑home series with Alabama, which reached the Sweet Sixteen, and a neutral‑site game against Charlotte in Philadelphia on November 9.
Additional non‑conference opponents include Saint Peter’s on November 2, LIU on November 5, New Hampshire on November 24, Siena on November 28, Kansas State on December 4, and a final regular‑season game against UNC Greensboro on December 15.
Season tickets for all Prudential Center games and every BIG EAST matchup are on sale, marking the 20th year the venue has hosted Seton Hall basketball and underscoring its status as one of the premier college venues.
The Pirates will face only three non‑conference opponents who finished under .500 last year, while the rest of the slate pits them against strong competition, including a rematch with Kansas State, whom they defeated 78‑67 last season.
