2026‑27 Non‑Conference Schedule Overview
The University of Minnesota has released its 2026‑27 non‑conference men’s basketball schedule, a 13‑game lineup that blends home contests, road trips and neutral‑site events.
Nine of those games will be played at the team’s home venue, the Barn, with Blue Cross Blue Shield listed as a key supporter of the home slate.
The schedule includes three neutral‑site matchups and a single true road game, the first of which takes the Gophers to Milwaukee to face Marquette on November 7.
The opening game comes on November 2 at home against Harvard, a Women’s Basketball Invitational participant, and the team will also host Southern, a recent NCAA tournament qualifier, on November 10.
Other notable contests include a neutral‑site game against Kansas State at the Pentagon on November 14, a home game versus Kansas on November 18, and a stint in Cancun where the Gophers will meet Missouri State on November 26 and Cincinnati on November 27 as part of the 2026 Cancun Challenge.
