Grandview Speedway Prepares for Action-Packed Weekend
The speedway will open its doors on Friday, August 21, with the Outlaw Racing Series delivering Enduro and Vintage car contests alongside Xcel 600 Modifieds, all slated to start at seven in the evening. The following day, Saturday, August 22, the track will host the NASCAR Local Racing Series, showcasing T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds and Sportsman divisions, each supporting qualifying runs and 30‑lap and 25‑lap features.
Ticket pricing differs by venue area. Grandstand seats cost ten dollars on Friday, while pit access is priced at thirty‑five dollars. Saturday’s grandstand admission is twenty dollars for adults, ten dollars for students aged ten to fifteen presenting identification, and free for children under nine; pit tickets are thirty‑five dollars for members and forty‑five dollars for non‑members.
Fans can test their racing knowledge during Trivia Night, where correct answers unlock prizes, and they can browse the Hyde & Read Mobile Bookstore set up in turn one of the grandstand, offering a selection of new and gently used titles. From five to six p.m., a driver meet‑and‑greet will allow enthusiasts to obtain autographs and photos from Kyle Smith, Adrianna Delliponti, Teague Miller and TJ Mayberry, with a signed banner raffle adding a chance to win a custom‑branded banner.
Beyond the immediate weekend, Grandview Speedway is already promoting its September Freedom celebration, scheduled for September 18‑19, where lap sponsorships are on sale for twenty dollars per lap; interested parties can contact the track for details. Additional special nights include an August 29 event and a championship evening on September 12, featuring the 13th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship and the 56th annual Freedom 76 Modified Classic.
The venue, located at 43 Passmore Road in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, maintains a full schedule of events through September, and further information can be obtained via the speedway’s website or by calling the track’s office.
