WKU Lady Toppers unveil 2026‑27 non‑conference slate

Thirteen games, six at home, featuring marquee matchups and a road trip across the Northeast

A packed non‑conference slate

Western Kentucky University’s women’s basketball program has released its non‑conference schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a 13‑game slate that blends home‑court advantages with a demanding road circuit.

The campaign opens with an exhibition matchup against Young Harris on October 31, dubbed the Top’r Treat, before the official tip‑off against Chattanooga on November 4.

Six of the contests will be played at E.A. Diddle Arena, giving the Lady Toppers a familiar backdrop for several early‑season battles, including a home game against Christian Brothers on November 8.

The schedule also features high‑profile road trips, highlighted by a November 11 showdown at Vanderbilt in Nashville and a later stretch that takes the team to Campbell, Evansville, Holy Cross and Yale.

In addition to those matchups, WKU will host Vanderbilt, Kentucky State and Southern Illinois, while also traveling to face MAC champion Miami (Ohio) on December 13 and participating in the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.

The non‑conference slate wraps up with a home game against Arkansas Tech on December 29, rounding out a season that totals 31 games when combined with the 18 Conference USA fixtures already announced.
