Seton Hall's women's soccer squad will host Drexel University on Sunday at 4 p.m., with live coverage streaming on ESPN+.
A Revamped Roster
The Pirates are chasing a second consecutive 2-0 start, a feat last achieved in 2011 and 2012, hoping to set the tone early in the season.
Central to that ambition is senior forward Gianna Angelillo, who returns after a year at Louisville and immediately made an impact with a decisive penalty in the 65th minute of the season‑opening win over FDU, earning her a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Coach Josh Osit, now in his fifth season, emphasizes continuity, noting that 15 veterans from last year's squad are back, including Angelillo, while 11 newcomers bring fresh energy.
Among the newcomers are twins Lydia and Nicole Proia from Natick High School, whose high school careers featured 37 and 51 goals respectively and two state championships in 2023 and 2025, drawing attention as promising additions.
The roster also welcomes transfers such as Kileigh Gorman, who arrived from UConn, and Macie Mietz from Butler, alongside a group of seven transfers and four freshmen that includes Sabrina Campbell, Gianna Delgado, Kaylin Mallon, Tuva Norell and Shaina Sackett.
Live coverage will be available on ESPN+, giving fans a chance to follow the action as the team looks to translate early momentum into a sustained push toward the conference tournament.
