Georgia Southern Baseball Players Shine in Summer Collegiate Leagues

Fourteen Eagles across five summer leagues earn accolades, highlighting a strong pipeline for the 2027 season

Summer Showcase

Fourteen members of the Georgia Southern University baseball team spread across five different summer collegiate leagues last year, using the experience to sharpen their skills against top competition.

Among them, Kaden Thompson and Drew Pynes earned FCBL All‑Star selections, with Thompson batting .283 and posting a .421 on‑base percentage, while Pynes hit .315 and drove in 23 runs.

Max Prozny, competing in the Coastal Plain League, was recognized as Hitter of the Night after driving in 30 runs, hitting two home runs and adding 11 doubles, while Tate Sirmans posted a .491 slugging percentage in just 15 games.

Nico Senese and TJ Schuyler also earned NECBL All‑Star honors, each batting above .300 with strong offensive contributions, and Jayden White earned Second Team All‑North honors in the Valley Baseball League after posting a 1.93 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP.

The collective success across the summer circuit not only highlights individual talent but also signals a promising foundation as the Eagles look ahead to the 2027 season.
