Defensively, the team showed marked progress, allowing just 30.3 points per game and climbing out of an early three‑game skid that featured a 30‑point loss streak. The unit’s upward trajectory gave the coaching staff confidence that the upcoming roster can sustain that momentum.
On offense, the Cardinals posted a 27.8 points per game average and amassed 356 yards per contest, highlighted by a 67‑point explosion against West Liberty that established a new single‑game scoring record. The receiving corps will be anchored by Jordan Kaiser, who set a career high with 32 catches for 589 yards and five touchdowns, and Colin Oberdick, who will continue to stretch the field.
