The Callaway girls soccer team concluded a remarkable campaign by advancing to the Sweet 16, a milestone that underscored the program’s rapid growth and competitive spirit.
Individual brilliance shone throughout the roster, with Alayna Leithleiter earning the prestigious AA State Player of the Year honor and securing a spot on the All‑Region first team.
Standout Performances
Sofia Flores emerged as the team’s offensive catalyst, tallying 22 goals and six assists while also earning first‑team All‑Region recognition. Her impact at the front line set a high bar for the upcoming season.
Midfield creativity was anchored by Becca Bryan, who led the squad with 12 assists and added nine goals, earning her a place on the first team as well.
Defensive stability came from McKinley Milner, whose 10 blocks helped the back line stay resolute, earning a second‑team All‑Region nod.
Freshman sensation Mia Flores contributed 14 goals and six assists, while Zoe Molina added six goals and five assists, both securing second‑team honors.
