Although Hoffmann will travel with the squad to Chicago for the season‑opening matchup that will be broadcast nationally, he will be barred from the sidelines, with Zach Naszimento stepping in as interim head coach for the September 5 home opener against Mount Carmel (Illinois) and Creekside (Georgia).
