Veteran goalkeeper Bella Medrano was the backbone of Abilene Christian’s backline, producing five crucial saves, while UTEP’s net‑minder turned away six shots, preserving the clean sheet despite a flurry of attempts.
Nia Leslie tested the UTEP defense with efforts in the eighth and sixteenth minutes, and Addison Briscoe added two on‑target shots for the Wildcats, but a combination of tight marking and a stingy UTEP keeper kept the scoreboard blank.
