Arkansas State Announces 2026‑27 Men’s Basketball Non‑Conference Slate

A 14‑game schedule blends home comforts, road challenges and holiday tournament action

Arkansas State University has unveiled its 2026‑27 men’s basketball non‑conference schedule, a 14‑game lineup that blends home dominance, road tests and a pair of neutral‑site showcases.

Key matchups and travel plans

Head coach Ryan Pannone said the slate was designed to give the Red Wolves a strong start, with eight home contests, four away games and two neutral‑site battles spread across November and December.

The season opens on November 2 against Toledo, then the team travels to Tuscaloosa for a November 6 showdown at Alabama, marking the third meeting in the past four seasons.

Three consecutive home games follow the Alabama visit, beginning with a November 10 contest against UT Martin before additional matchups later in the month.

A Thanksgiving week tournament in Miami will feature games against Southern Utah on November 23, Long Beach State on November 24 and FIU on November 25, providing a compact road swing.

Later in the schedule, Arkansas State will host Missouri State on December 3 before closing its non‑conference slate with a home game against Little Rock on December 6.

Road trips also include contests at St. Thomas on December 12 and at South Alabama, Georgia Southern, Troy, Louisiana and Old Dominion in the weeks that follow.

The regular season wraps with a second‑round MAC‑SBC Challenge game on February 6 against an opponent yet to be determined.
