Siena Women's Basketball Unveils 2026‑27 Metro Conference Schedule
The Saints open the season on December 19 with a road test against Merrimack in North Andover, Massachusetts, before returning home for back‑to‑back contests against Quinnipiac and Fairfield.
Fairfield’s departure from the Metro Conference after this season adds a layer of intrigue, as the team will finish its final league games before moving to the Coastal Athletic Association.
Siena will meet eight league rivals twice apiece, while facing Saint Peter’s, Niagara, Rider and Canisius on a single occasion each, creating an unbalanced but strategic slate.
Key dates include a New Year’s Day showdown with Saint Peter’s on January 16, a home game against Niagara on January 21, and road trips to Canisius on February 13 and Rider on February 18.
The regular season culminates on February 27 at Marist, after which the Metro Conference Tournament will take place in Atlantic City from March 4 to March 8, with the championship game scheduled for a Monday.
Head coach Terry Primm, now in his third year, expressed optimism about the roster’s depth and the team’s ability to compete against a challenging field.
