Presley Sutter, a junior forward on Bucknell’s soccer team, has been recognized as the Patriot League Forward of the Week after a standout pair of performances that showcased both her scoring touch and playmaking ability.
In the Bison’s 8‑1 victory over Mount St. Mary’s, Sutter recorded her first career two‑goal game, opening the scoring in the 11th minute and sealing the brace in the 84th minute. The following match saw her assist on two early goals during a 4‑0 win against La Salle, contributing to a balanced attack that helped the team surge to a 3‑1 start.
Her two goals and one assist across the two wins bring her total involvement to three points, underscoring her growing impact on a squad that has already netted 13 goals in four games.
Bucknell is set to return to action on Thursday, traveling to face Penn State at Jeffrey Field, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The upcoming contest will test the Bison’s momentum as they look to extend their early‑season success.
