Indiana University’s women’s basketball program has released its full non‑conference schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a 13‑game lineup that mixes familiar foes with new challenges. All but two contests will be played at the iconic Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, underscoring the team’s reliance on its storied home crowd.
Head‑lining road tests
The first high‑major opponent arrives on Nov. 27 when the Hoosiers travel to face Mississippi State, followed by a showdown with Georgia Tech the next day at the 2026 Elevance Health Fort Myers Tip‑Off in Florida. Additional road trips include visits to Boston College on Dec. 2 and a final non‑conference clash with Florida State on Dec. 20.
Returning talent remains the backbone of the squad. Junior guard Lenée Beaumont, who averaged 11.8 points per game last season, returns alongside junior forward Zania Socka‑Nguemen, a rebounding force who contributed 8.7 boards per contest before an injury sidelined her late in the year.
The incoming freshman class brings high‑profile additions, including McDonald’s All‑American Addy Nyemchek and Naismith High School All‑American GiGi Battle, who are expected to inject immediate depth and scoring punch.
Attendance has been a consistent strength for Indiana, ranking in the nation’s top ten for the past four seasons. Last year the team drew an average of 7,866 fans per game, a figure the program hopes to sustain as it navigates a demanding schedule.
