Investigation Underway
Deputies arrived to find several car windows shattered, with the front driver side and rear window damaged in an apparent attempt to gain access.
A victim later reported that a black Ruger EC9 pistol had been stolen from the vehicle, and that suspects were seen fleeing the scene, though none were apprehended.
A second deputy responded the following Saturday morning, and the incident was logged as a theft from a motor vehicle in Richland County, part of the Midlands region of South Carolina.
Investigators have not released any further details about the suspects, and the case remains open as law enforcement continues to seek leads.
