Utah Football Radio Broadcasts Add New Voices with Stevenson Sylvester and Zack Moss

Longtime announcer Bill Riley stays on board as former NFL players join the commentary team

A new era for Utah football radio

The University of Utah will roll out a refreshed lineup for its football radio broadcasts this fall, adding fresh perspectives to the familiar play‑by‑play that fans have come to expect.

Bill Riley, who has anchored the commentary for eighteen seasons, will continue to call the action alongside his new partners, ensuring continuity for longtime listeners.

Stevenson Sylvester, a former NFL running back who starred on Utah’s undefeated 2008 team and later spent five years with the Pittsburgh Steelers, will take over as the color commentator replacing Scott Mitchell.

Zack Moss, the all‑time rushing record holder for the Utes from 2019, joins the broadcast crew as the sideline reporter, bringing his deep connection to the program to the booth.

Fans can tune in on ESPN 700 radio, stream the games at UtahUtes.com or use the ESPN 700 app to catch every drive live.
