A bold nonconference slate
Indiana University has officially released the complete nonconference schedule for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, confirming twelve games that will take the Hoosiers beyond the Big Ten.
The slate opens in November with home matchups against Eastern Illinois and Bellarmine, while a road test at Syracuse follows later in the month.
Perhaps the most anticipated contests are the neutral‑site games: Arkansas will visit Madison Square Garden in New York, and Kentucky will be staged at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Syracuse’s game is slated for Gainbridge Fieldhouse, also in Indianapolis, giving the Hoosiers a chance to showcase the venue to a national audience.
The remainder of the schedule includes contests against Jacksonville, Bowling Green, Tennessee Tech, Western Illinois, UCF and Fairleigh Dickinson, rounding out a diverse mix of opponents.
A December 18 meeting with Missouri is still being finalized, but the rest of the nonconference slate is set, with all games either at IU’s Bloomington campus or the venues listed above.
