Bucknell University’s women’s basketball program is gearing up for a demanding 2026‑27 non‑conference schedule that blends fresh challenges with long‑standing rivalries.
New Frontiers and Familiar Battles
Head coach Trevor Woodruff has curated a 13‑game slate that includes five home contests at the historic Sojka Pavilion and eight road trips, giving the Bison a chance to test themselves against a diverse set of opponents.
The first‑ever meetings with SEC powerhouse Florida, Big East standout DePaul, and Colonial Athletic Association contender James Madison University highlight the schedule, each slated for early November and December.
Bucknell will also renew acquaintances with Fordham, Mount Saint Mary’s, and Delaware State, teams against which the Bison have mixed results in recent years, while also welcoming back familiar foes such as Iona, LeMoyne, and Susquehanna.
