The New Mexico Goatheads have announced the signing of veteran forward Tyler Drevitch to a contract that will run through the 2026‑27 ECHL season.
Drevitch, 31, arrives after six years of ECHL competition, during which he has logged 297 regular‑season games, 90 points and 596 penalty minutes.
A Career of Consistency
His most productive campaign came in 2022‑23 with the Nailers, where he posted a career‑high 18 goals and 15 assists for 33 points, setting personal bests across the board.
The following season, he added 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) and a plus‑11 rating with the Maine Mariners, showcasing his ability to contribute both offensively and defensively.
Prior to that, Drevitch skated for the Orlando Solar Bears, where he continued to demonstrate the durability and grit that have defined his six‑year ECHL journey.
Before turning professional, he captained Merrimack College in his senior year, leading the team through a successful collegiate stint that included appearances in 94 games.
As an affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Eagles, the Goatheads hope the veteran’s two‑way ability will translate into deeper playoff runs and added depth for a roster that is looking to build on recent successes.
Fans can expect a seasoned presence on the ice, a player who has experienced the rigors of multiple markets from Wheeling, West Virginia to Atlanta, Georgia, and who brings a winning pedigree from his college captaincy.
