Colombo’s pledge follows a series of high-profile verbal commitments, including top-20 prospect Finley Parcher, who listed Arizona among her final choices, and 5-foot-9 combo guard Giaunni Rogers, slated to visit Tucson on October 4. The influx of talent reflects a broader push by the Wildcats to bolster their roster with nationally ranked athletes.
Scouting services have praised Colombo’s production at St. Mary’s, where she averaged 10.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.2 blocks per game last season. Her scout grade of 91 and a No. 96 ranking by ESPN in June underscore the high expectations placed on her. Additional rankings place her inside the top 40 nationally and within the top 10 power forwards in the country.
National Recognition and International Exposure
Beyond club and high school play, Colombo earned a spot as a finalist for the U16 national team in 2025 and received an invitation to the U17 trials in 2026, signaling her status among the country’s elite. Her skill set has also attracted interest from a host of powerhouse programs, including Syracuse, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, DePaul and NC State, before she ultimately chose Arizona.
