Rattlers Unveil 2026 Depth Chart Ahead of Season Opener
Florida A&M Rattlers have published their 2026 depth chart, marking the first official look at how the squad will line up for the season opener against Albany State on August 29. The document highlights a blend of experienced returnees and high‑profile transfers that could reshape the team’s dynamics.
At the helm of the offense, quarterback Isaiah Knowles arrives from Albany State, where he earned back‑to‑back Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors after surpassing 5,000 passing yards and 60 touchdowns over the past two seasons. He will be guided by head coach Quinn Fordham Gray Sr., who previously coached him at Albany State.
The running back slot is anchored by Jamal Hailey, who posted 516 rushing yards and nine all‑purpose touchdowns in 2025. The offensive line features left tackle Jeremy Fishkin, left guard Christopher Williams, center Tommy Bridgewater, right guard Jordan Davis and right tackle Caleb Smith, providing protection for Knowles and opening lanes for Hailey.
Defensively, Antonio Camon Jr. leads the line as left defensive end, having topped the Rattlers with four sacks last year. Nose tackle Mazio Randall will anchor the interior, while Daryl 'DJ' Jones, Ryan Johnson, Simion Hines and Vinh Quain add depth. Special teams will rely on kicker Emilio Bacardi and punter Bobby Engstler, both of whom bring veteran experience to the unit.
The Rattlers’ schedule opens with a home matchup against Albany State before traveling to face South Carolina State, Miami, Tennessee State and other SWAC rivals. With a roster that blends proven talent like Dustin Fletcher, Chase Gillespie, Jamar Taylor Jr., Kieren Jackson, Corey 'Deuce' Petty, Isiah Davis, Frank Callum III, Dion Villiers, Daylyn Ditson, Antonio Camon Jr., Mazio Randall, Daryl 'DJ' Jones, Ryan Johnson, Simion Hines, Vinh Quain, Emilio Bacardi, Bobby Engstler, Jeremy Fishkin, Christopher Williams, Tommy Bridgewater, Jordan Davis, Caleb Smith and many more, the team aims to contend for a conference title.
