A night that turned deadly
The night of August 23, 2024, ended in tragedy for a young athlete in Pennsylvania when Glenwood 'Bubba' Pysher IV, a 22‑year‑old college baseball player, was shot by police outside a residence on Snyder Road in Upper Pottsgrove Township.
According to investigators, Pysher had been out with friends and, after a night of drinking, mistakenly approached the back door of a house he believed belonged to a companion. The homeowners, alarmed by his presence, called 911, reporting a possible burglary.
