The decisive moment arrived when a handball in the box awarded Petoskey a second spot‑kick, and O’Donnell calmly slotted the ball to give his team a 2-1 lead.

Both goalkeepers delivered standout performances; Gaylord’s Levi Dubie denied a rebound early in the second half, while Petoskey’s Lucas Lamberson made a series of key saves to preserve the lead.
