Key venues and dates
The season’s mid‑year slate will see a new street‑race event in San Diego, hosting both the Cup Series and the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, while the historic All‑Star race makes its comeback at North Wilkesboro Speedway. The championship weekend will once again be staged at Homestead‑Miami, marking the second straight year the Florida track serves as the finale.
In addition to the new venues, NASCAR outlined a multi‑year plan to broaden its military‑base street‑race program, with plans to add another U.S. installation in 2028. Tracks such as Dover Motor Speedway and Darlington Raceway will also add significant Cup Series dates, and Pocono Raceway will showcase all three national series during its June weekend.
The schedule also includes the traditional Clash exhibition, which will take place at Daytona the weekend before the Daytona 500, and a $20 million renovation project underway at Homestead‑Miami aimed at enhancing the fan experience on race day.
