NASCAR Announces 2027 Schedule Overhaul with Major Track Shifts

Cup, O'Reilly Auto Parts, and Truck series see significant venue changes and a new broadcast lineup

NASCAR has unveiled its 2027 schedule, a sweeping revision that reshapes the calendar for the Cup, O'Reilly Auto Parts, and Craftsman Truck series. The changes feature a handful of high‑profile relocations and the introduction of fresh venues across the three divisions.

In the premier Cup division, the iconic Clash will now take place at Daytona International Speedway, while the All‑Star exhibition moves to North Wilkesboro Speedway. Dover Motor Speedway, which relinquished the All‑Star date, will instead host a points‑paying race, and the series will welcome North Wilkesboro and Richmond Motor Speedway as new venues, while Rockingham Raceway and one of the Atlanta dates drop off the schedule.

The revised media plan assigns FOX and its cable partner FS1 to air the first 14 Cup events, after which Prime Video takes over the next five, followed by TNT for another five, and the final 14 will be carried by USA Sports, the combined platform of USA Network and NBC.

The Truck lineup sees a similar shake‑up: four events — Rockingham, Naval Base Coronado, Dover and Richmond — are removed, making way for Bowman Gray Speedway, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Pocono Raceway and a second race at Kansas Speedway.

These adjustments reflect NASCAR’s strategy to diversify its venue portfolio and expand its national footprint, while maintaining a mix of historic short tracks, superspeedways and road courses that have defined the sport for decades.

Fans can look forward to a blend of familiar landmarks and fresh challenges as the series integrates new markets and preserves the competitive spirit that has made NASCAR a staple of American motorsports.
