Tulane University has formally released the names of the 21 athletes who will join the baseball program for the 2027 campaign, a roster that combines four freshmen with seventeen transfers. The move reflects Coach Jay Uhlman’s strategy to blend high‑school and junior‑college prospects with proven collegiate talent, aiming to revive the Green Wave’s storied tradition.
Among the newcomers, pitcher Noah Bolinger arrives from Bentonville High School, where he posted a 10‑4 record, a 1.57 ERA and 128 strikeouts. Catcher‑infielder Beckett Suh, a graduate of University High School, brings a reputation as a PBR Indiana First Team All‑State selection and a Preseason All‑State honoree. Right‑hander Laird Williams, a product of Edmond Memorial HS, previously went 17‑2 with 202 strikeouts and three no‑hitters, while right‑hander Brandon Place, a alumnus of The Roxbury Latin School, earned All‑ISL, All‑NEPSAC honors and team captaincy after a 1.68 ERA and 86 strikeouts.
The transfer pool adds depth from a variety of junior colleges and four‑year institutions. Sage Adams, who transferred from Eastern Florida State, appeared in 15 games last season with nine hits and five RBIs. Tomas Bilvado, a recent addition from Mt. SAC College, went 8‑3 with 54 strikeouts and a 5.21 ERA in 2026. Conner Connell, coming from Iowa Western CC, started all nine games he played and finished 3‑0 with a 4.85 ERA. Jacob Croxford, who transferred from Central Arizona College, logged 73 hits, 16 doubles and seven home runs across 57 games in 2026.
Other transfers include Ryan Darrah from Arizona State University, who recorded a single RBI in six appearances; Robbie Demetree from Florida Southwestern College, who posted 50 hits and 46 RBIs in 46 games; Brady Fitzpatrick from Northeast CC, who amassed 84 hits and 60 RBIs in 58 games; and Aidan Grab from Delgado CC, who went 4‑4 with a 4.53 ERA in 11 pitching appearances. Each of these players brings a distinct skill set that Coach Uhlman believes will complement the existing squad.
