Pirates Prepare for a Turnaround
After a challenging 2025 campaign that left the Park Center High School football team with a 2‑7 record, the Pirates are focusing on rebuilding momentum as the new season approaches.
Coach Jordan Sallis has highlighted the importance of player commitment, noting that the squad has embraced a culture of accountability and hard work during the offseason.
The team returns six defensive starters and four offensive starters, giving the lineup a solid foundation heading into the first game.
Key contributors such as cornerback/wide receiver Joe Jacobs, tight end/defensive lineman Mo Komara, offensive/defensive lineman Alexander Dolo, linebacker/fullback Charlie Aasen, defensive back Jai Crawford, running back Freddy Johnson and quarterback Dez Slocum are expected to make significant impacts.
The Pirates open the season at home against Irondale on September 3, a matchup that will set the tone for what the coaching staff hopes will be a competitive and cohesive campaign.
