NASCAR is seeking a new title sponsor for its Truck Series after the current agreement with Craftsman expired before the 2026 season, a move that comes as the series targets roughly $5 million in annual sponsorship revenue.
A New Contender Emerges
FedEx Freight, the less‑than‑truckload delivery unit that was spun off from FedEx in June 2024 and has since become a publicly traded company, is being viewed as the leading candidate to take over the sponsorship.
Craftsman had held the Truck Series title since 2023, succeeding Camping World, and previously served as the series’ presenting sponsor from 1995 through 2008, while Stanley Black & Decker’s DeWalt brand continues to back Joe Gibbs Racing.
In 2024, NASCAR also locked in O’Reilly Auto Parts as a sponsor for its Xfinity Series, illustrating the organization’s strategy of pairing multiple automotive partners across its national series.
Should the FedEx Freight deal close, it would represent the latest in a series of branding realignments that reflect the evolving relationship between major corporations and NASCAR’s competitive platform.
