Lindsay Bronson was officially named head coach of the University of Wisconsin‑Oshkosh women’s basketball program on Wednesday, taking over from Brad Fischer, who guided the team for 14 seasons.
She comes to Oshkosh after a 12‑year tenure at Carroll University, where she posted a 134‑114 record and led the Pioneers to top‑two finishes in the conference standings each of the past four seasons. Her coaching excellence was recognized in 2024 when she was named conference coach of the year, and her staff earned additional praise in 2026.

Bronson’s approach emphasizes championship‑level competition, academic achievement and the holistic development of student‑athletes. She intends to build on a program that has captured 17 WIAC regular‑season titles, seven tournament crowns and 21 NCAA Division III tournament appearances, including a national championship in 1996.
The roster she will inherit includes 19 players, and Bronson promises high‑energy, competitive practices that translate into game‑day intensity. The 2026‑27 season opens on November 7 against her former team, Carroll University, a matchup that promises added excitement for fans and players alike.
