The Las Vegas Motor Speedway will welcome a new tradition this fall with the debut of the Kyle Busch Classic, a NASCAR race scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2024.
A Tribute to a Racing Icon
The event honors the career of Kyle Busch, who first fell in love with racing on the half‑mile bullring that sits on the speedway’s historic grounds, capturing two track championships as a young prodigy.
Busch’s early victories at The Bullring marked the start of a storied career that would later include multiple NASCAR championships, and his return to the venue with his son Brexton during the Battle of the Busches added a poignant chapter to the track’s lore.
Samantha Busch, who has chronicled her husband’s journey from those formative days, recalled how her father taught Kyle the nuances of the circuit and how the whole family cheered him on from the stands.
Patrick Lindsey, senior vice president of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, said the Classic is designed to celebrate Busch’s contributions while inspiring the next generation of drivers to pursue their own racing dreams.
Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m., a ceremony is slated for 5:30 p.m., and the green flag is expected to drop at 6:10 p.m., promising an evening of high‑octane competition.
Tickets and additional event details will be posted on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring website, where fans can secure their spot for what promises to be a landmark weekend on the NASCAR calendar.
