Oklahoma State women's basketball has announced the addition of veteran guard Callin Hake, a graduate of the University of Nebraska who brings four years of collegiate experience to the program.
During her tenure with the Cornhuskers she appeared in 131 games, starting 68 of them, and posted career averages of 6.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game while helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three seasons.
Hake capped her senior season by starting all 32 games, raising her scoring to 7.2 points per contest and ranking second on the team in both assists and steals, and she set a school record with 33 offensive fouls drawn.
Beyond the box score, she earned team captain honors for the 2025‑26 campaign, was recognized with Nebraska's Heart & Soul Award for community impact, and previously served as president of the Student‑Athlete Advisory Committee and chair of the Big Ten Student‑Athlete Issues Commission.
A Character‑Driven Addition
Hake's reputation for sportsmanship is reflected in multiple conference recognitions, including two Big Ten Sportsmanship Awards and the 2024‑25 Big Ten Outstanding Sportsmanship Award, highlighting her commitment to the spirit of the game.
Hailing from Victoria, Minnesota, she graduated from Chanhassen High School where she earned four‑time MVP honors and was selected as a McDonald's All‑American, underscoring a trajectory of excellence from early years.
The coaching staff noted that her team‑first mentality and defensive presence align perfectly with Oklahoma State's program values, making her a natural fit for the Cowgirls' backcourt.
Her arrival is expected to deepen the backcourt rotation, add reliable three‑point shooting, and provide a seasoned voice that can mentor younger teammates while reinforcing the team's emphasis on elite character and community engagement.
