Syracuse Women’s Ice Hockey Announces 2026‑27 Nonconference Schedule

Early road tests and home series against New York rivals line up before the new year

Syracuse University has released the nonconference schedule for its women's ice hockey program for the 2026‑27 season, outlining a slate that begins in September and runs through early January.

The Orange open the campaign on September 19 at the Tennity Ice Pavilion, hosting Queens before traveling to Stonehill for a two‑game series on September 25‑26.

A subsequent road trip takes the team to RPI in Troy, New York, where they will play on November 13‑14, followed by a home matchup against Colgate on November 17.

Later in November, Syracuse will host Clarkson on November 24 before heading to Potsdam for a game on November 28, completing a busy stretch that includes multiple New York venues.

The schedule wraps up the calendar year with a January 1 contest against Union in Schenectady and a January 2 game versus the Garnet Chargers, before the final nonconference showdown against Colgate on January 5 at the Class of 1965 Arena in Hamilton.

A busy road ahead

Brian Idalski, in his first year as head coach, will guide the team through the demanding stretch, which also includes a home‑and‑away series against Union and a road game in Potsdam.

Game times for all contests will be announced at a later date, but the lineup promises a competitive start to the season and a chance for the Orange to test themselves against a variety of opponents.
