The Ohio State women’s basketball program is heading to Texas for a landmark event that promises to raise the profile of the sport.
Organized by Wild Horse Sports Management, the inaugural Lone Star Series brings together top women’s college teams for a series of in‑state and national matchups designed to showcase talent and grow interest.
A New Showcase for Women’s Basketball
The centerpiece will be a doubleheader at Dickies Arena on Nov. 22, where the Buckeyes will square off against the Longhorns, while TCU and Utah State also take the court.
Ticket presales open on Friday, Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. Eastern, with general sales following on Sept. 4, giving supporters ample opportunity to attend the games in person.
The series highlights a strategic push to elevate women’s college basketball, pairing marquee programs with a venue renowned for its electric atmosphere.
