EA Sports has rolled out a massive update to College Football 27, injecting more than 1,900 new players into the roster and reshaping the game’s depth chart.
Among the additions, the LSU Tigers stand out as one of the highest‑rated teams, boasting an overall team rating of 88, which places them near the top of the digital rankings.
Freshman Standout Geralds
Deuce Geralds arrives as a freshman defensive tackle with an overall rating of 78, and his attributes — Acceleration 88, Injury 90, Toughness 89 — signal a player the coaching staff believes could earn increased playing time.
Joining him, Landen Clark is listed as a redshirt sophomore quarterback with a 76 overall rating, featuring a speed of 86 and throw power of 89 that could make him a dynamic threat in the virtual pocket.
The update also highlights other high‑rated Tigers such as Jordan Seaton, Trey'Dez Green, Sam Leavitt and Whit Weeks, each bringing notable ratings that reinforce LSU’s reputation as a powerhouse in the game.
Notably, Richard Anderson, another standout from fall camp, was omitted from this roster addition, underscoring the selective nature of the latest player influx.
Beyond individual ratings, the expansion aims to enrich gameplay by diversifying the talent pool, offering fans a more authentic representation of college football depth and giving developers a broader canvas for future updates.
