Auburn Football announced this week that it has renewed its subscription with Monarc for the robotic quarterback known as the Seeker, extending the partnership for several additional years.
A New Era of Practice
The Seeker, billed as the world’s first robotic quarterback, is designed to deliver an unlimited stream of game‑like repetitions, allowing athletes to hone their skills on offense, defense and special teams without the logistical constraints of human partners.
Equipped with a touchscreen interface and a six‑ball magazine, the device can launch passes, punts and kicks at speeds reaching 75 mph, while continuously adjusting trajectory and placement to hit precise targets on the field.
Coach’s Praise
Andrew Warsaw, Auburn’s general manager for football, described the Seeker as a versatile and integral tool, noting that it has become a staple of weekly player preparation and has markedly improved the team’s training efficiency.
Future Outlook
The renewed agreement signals Auburn’s commitment to leveraging cutting‑edge technology as a cornerstone of its player development strategy, promising continued innovation in how the program prepares its student‑athletes for competition.
