The Saddle Mountain Unified School District in Arizona has called off the entire football season for Tonopah Valley High School.
Investigation expands over camp misconduct
The decision follows a criminal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct that emerged during a July football camp held in Williams. Reports of inappropriate behavior, including incidents described as "dry humping," were brought to the attention of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Williams Police Department.
In the wake of the allegations, several members of the high school faculty have been placed on administrative leave, and the district is now seeking alternative ways to engage the affected student‑athletes, such as workout programs and other athletic activities.
