Ozark High School’s Youth Football Night
On a crisp Friday evening, the grounds surrounding Ozark High School transformed into a bustling celebration of youth football, as families, alumni and local residents gathered for the school’s annual Youth Football Night.
The event, organized by King Block, president of Ozark Youth Football, offered more than 400 servings of food and a lineup of lawn games, all provided free of charge to anyone who wanted to join.
What set this night apart was the deliberate effort to weave together students from every grade level, from first‑graders to seniors, under the rallying cry “We are one Ozark.” The collaboration was on full display as older players mentored younger ones, fostering a sense of shared purpose.
The varsity Tigers made a memorable entrance, stepping onto the field escorted by the next generation of aspiring athletes, a symbolic hand‑off that underscored the program’s commitment to nurturing future talent.
Tailgate festivities are now a staple before every home game, inviting the entire community to partake in the free events that blend food, fun and football culture.
