Boys' Soccer Highlights
The St. Thomas Aquinas boys soccer team opened its Division III campaign with a commanding 6‑1 victory over Pelham. Junior Ryan Dyer was the centerpiece of the offense, netting four goals and adding an assist, while Conall Ciaschini contributed two goals and two assists. The supporting cast chipped in with key passes, as Camden Murphy, Eli Koelker and Philipp Redder each recorded an assist.
Winnacunnet managed a solitary goal in its Division I opener, the strike being set up by Nate Dillon, while Portsmouth Christian secured a 1‑0 win over Woodsville. Sam Monahan found the net and Jackson Malone’s presence in goal helped preserve the clean sheet.
Girls' Soccer and Field Hockey Results
On the girls’ side, Exeter rolled past Bishop Guertin 3‑0, with Harper Levitsky, Olivia Plante and Mallory Fisher each adding a marker. Midfielder Mya Dinneen supplied two assists and Brynn Anderson made three saves to keep the shutout intact.
Newmarket’s Division IV team faced a 1‑0 halftime deficit against Lin‑Wood but turned the tide in the final twenty minutes, scoring three unanswered goals. Audrey Orcutt completed a hat trick, while Dimitra Zygouri contributed a goal and two assists. Arianna Moulton and Sofia Bellamente each added an assist, underscoring the team’s depth.
Portsmouth Christian’s girls also opened with a 2‑0 triumph over Woodsville, as Sylvie Wamberg scored both goals and Shea Howe provided an assist.
Exeter’s field hockey squad began its season with a win over Goffstown, where Jane Lyons accounted for both goals.
