The Saddle Mountain Unified School District announced the abrupt cancellation of the varsity and junior varsity football seasons at Tonopah Valley High School after a disturbing allegation emerged from a July trip to Williams, Arizona.
Authorities from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Williams Police Department have opened a detailed investigation into alleged sexual misconduct involving members of the football team, focusing on incidents that occurred during that outing.
