Keyshawn Hall, a former Auburn University forward, has decided to resume his collegiate career by committing to St. John’s University for the upcoming season, even though he previously accepted a training‑camp invitation from the Miami Heat.
During his sophomore year at Auburn he posted averages of 19.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, helping the team compete in the NCAA tournament.
Summer League Experience
After going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, Hall signed with the Miami Heat and participated in the NBA Summer League, appearing in five games.
In those contests he recorded 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, logging 16.1 minutes on the court.
Eligibility Outlook
The NCAA’s eligibility rules have become the subject of ongoing legal disputes, leaving Hall’s status for the next college season uncertain.
Should the NCAA determine him ineligible, Hall could potentially sign professional contracts, including with the Miami Heat.
For now, he has chosen to continue his college career at St. John’s, signaling his intent to play another season of collegiate basketball.
