North Dakota State University (NDSU) has unveiled its 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule, a 30‑game slate that blends home comforts with a series of challenging road trips.

The campaign opens with an exhibition matchup at home against MSU Moorhead on October 22, giving fans an early glimpse of the team’s chemistry before the regular season begins.
The first official game comes a week later, when the Bison travel to face Minnesota Crookston on November 2, marking the start of a demanding opening stretch.
A three‑game California road trip follows, beginning with a contest at Saint Mary’s on November 4, then a stop at the University of San Francisco on November 6, and concluding with a showdown at Cal State Bakersfield on November 8.
Back on home soil, NDSU will host several non‑conference opponents, including Illinois State on November 13, a second meeting with Cal State Bakersfield on November 15, a December 3 game against UC Davis, and a December 20 clash with Idaho State.
The Bison will also test themselves against Pac‑12 competition on the road, visiting Colorado State on November 18 and Washington State on December 6.
Thanksgiving weekend brings the inaugural Snake River Invitational in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where NDSU will meet North Texas, Drake and Boise State in a four‑team field.
Summit League play opens on January 7 at St. Thomas and will wrap up with a home game against North Dakota on February 27, setting the stage for the conference tournament.
The Summit League Tournament is scheduled for March 4‑7 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, promising a high‑stakes finish to the regular season.
