Hall of Fame Induction Honors Legends
The Dallas Stars announced that goaltender Marty Turco and longtime executive Les Jackson will be honored as the 2026 inductees into the franchise’s Hall of Fame, a recognition that underscores their indelible marks on the team’s history.
Turco’s on‑ice résumé includes 262 career wins, 40 shutouts and a .911 save percentage, numbers that place him among the most durable and effective net‑minders in franchise lore. Beyond statistics, he served as chairman of the Dallas Stars Foundation and earned the NHL Foundation Player Award in 2005‑06 for his extensive community outreach.
Jackson, who spent three decades with the organization in roles ranging from assistant coach to assistant general manager and scout, is credited with shaping the Stars’ drafting and development pipelines. His mentorship under legendary general managers such as Bob Clarke and Bob Gainey helped bring future NHL stars like Mike Modano, Jarome Iginla and Jamie Benn into the fold.
Induction Weekend Details
The induction weekend will culminate with an Induction Gala on December 10 at Comerica Center, featuring a live concert, followed by the Hall of Fame Game on December 12 against the St. Louis Blues. All proceeds from the events will be directed to the Dallas Stars Foundation, reinforcing the franchise’s commitment to community enrichment.
Both Turco and Jackson will be celebrated not only for their athletic and administrative achievements but also for the lasting cultural impact they have had on Dallas hockey, a legacy that continues to inspire new generations of players and fans alike.
