The Franklin Tech Eagles are gearing up for another campaign in the Intercounty North, hoping to turn the page after a season that saw several key graduates leave the roster.
A Season of Transition
Uncertainty looms along both the offensive and defensive lines, where experience has been replaced by a mix of younger players and returning starters.
Among the standouts is senior quarterback Mason Bassett, who entered his junior year after a noticeable physical transformation and a full offseason devoted to refining his game. At the same time, cornerback‑running back Brady Gancarz has been working to cement his role as a two‑way threat.
The receiving corps brings depth with Hunter Donahue, Nolyn Stafford and Cole Bassett, while the defensive front is anchored by Cole Gamache, who will line up at both end and tackle.
The team opens at home against McCann Tech on September 11 at 7 p.m., before traveling to Hull High School on October 16 at 6 p.m.
If the line can gel early, the Eagles could surprise many and contend for a championship that has eluded them in recent years.
